UGVR
(a)woken in VR, WOOOOOOOOO!
I forgot to mention in my changelog post some of the happenings of the past few weeks.
If you follow my youtube channel or twitter, you might have noticed me mentioning UGVR. Well, what is it?
Basically, it is an override that can add VR to any arbitrary non-VR Godot game! You gotta see it in action to believe it, it's incredible.
There is tinkering required to create a custom profile for it (after all, every game has its own unique control scheme, and to play in VR you have to fit your controls on the tiny VR sticks, which have less buttons than a normal controller), but the results speak for themselves.
Huge shoutout to teddybear082 for the great service he's doing for the godot AND VR communities!
